PE

On the days when your child has an indoor or outdoor PE lesson, they are invited to come to school wearing their PE kit that day, with their school jumper (black joggers can be worn over shorts in colder weather).

Please ensure that your child has the correct PE kit:

Indoor kit - black shorts or black leggings and a blue school t-shirt (no footwear is required).

Outdoor kit - black shorts or black leggings/joggers, a blue school t-shirt and black trainers.

Please see the class newsletter above for the days we have PE each week; this can change each half term.

Swimming lessons will take place every Thursday afternoon. Please ensure that your child has the correct kit and a towel each week. All children in Yr4 are expected to attend swimming lessons each week – please don’t send notes asking to miss the lesson, you need to talk to the teacher.

Please note whilst stud earrings are allowed for school they MUST be removed for PE lessons.

 Homework

Homework will be set every Thursday and due in on the following Monday.

Spellings and handwriting practice will be handed out on Tuesday and tested on the following Tuesday.

In year 4, it is statutory for all children to complete a multiplication tables check. The children will practise their multiplication tables in school. You can help at home by encouraging your children to practise using their TTRS account, or in any other ways.
