PE

On the days when your child has an indoor or outdoor PE lesson, they are invited to come to school wearing their PE kit that day, with their school jumper (black joggers can be worn over shorts in colder weather).

Please ensure that your child has the correct PE kit:

Indoor kit - black shorts or black leggings and a blue school t-shirt (no footwear is required).

Outdoor kit - black shorts or black leggings/joggers, a blue school t-shirt and black trainers.

Please note whilst stud earrings are allowed for school they MUST be removed for PE lessons.

Please see the class newsletter above for the days we have PE each week; this can change each half term.

Homework

Spellings will be handed out on a Friday and will be tested on the following Friday.  Your child does not need to return their spelling practice sheet to school.

Maths or English homework is set in a homework book on a Wednesday and is due back the following Monday.

Reading

It is expected that your child reads for a minimum of 10 minutes every night.  Please keep track of your child’s at-home reading by filling in the reading record each evening.

Your child MUST have their reading book and reading record in school every day.
