World Book Day 2017
We all enjoyed taking part in World Book Day on the 2nd of March.
The day started with families visiting classrooms, where children shared their favourite books with them.
Then we had a couple of assemblies, where everyone showed their fantastic costumes. Mrs Kershaw and Mrs Pendleton also told us about the adults' favourite books when they were young.
The staff had to choose five costume winners, who each received a £5 book token. Everyone found this very difficult as all the children looked amazing. After much deliberation, the winners were announced.
Staff enjoyed dressing up too.
The children spent the rest of the day completing activities relating to World Book Day and there was a class swap, where children read to each other.
A great day was had by all!
