Bowker Vale is a fantastic place to learn and grow. We are proud of our wonderfully motivated pupils, who are curious, enthusiastic and eager to learn; and of our dedicated teachers, who are passionate about teaching and learning alongside our children.

We are a large, successful two-form entry community school, catering for approximately 450 pupils aged 3 to 11 years. At our most recent Ofsted inspection in February 2023, Bowker Vale was judged to be Good, reflecting our strong commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Everything we do at Bowker Vale is underpinned by our School Standard;

All of our children know this standard, understand its meaning and strive to live by it every day. They are able to talk confidently about these values and what they look like in practice and we proudly use British Sign Language to sign our school standard, ensuring it is accessible to all.
